Support for anxiety patterns that feel hard to switch off
Anxiety can show up as overthinking, poor sleep, social worry, avoidance, emotional eating, drinking more than you want to, or feeling stuck in the same response again and again.
Anxiety does not always look like panic
Anxiety can be easy to dismiss when you are still getting through the day. But it can quietly affect the way you think, sleep, eat, socialise, work and respond to stress.
This section helps people recognise the patterns that may be showing up in everyday life.

What you may be experiencing

Overthinking and worry
Your mind keeps replaying, planning or questioning, even when you want to switch off.

Poor sleep
Stress, worry or racing thoughts make it hard to settle at night or wake feeling rested.

Social anxiety
You may feel tense, self conscious or worried about what others think, even in familiar situations.

Avoidance
You start saying no, putting things off or avoiding places, tasks or conversations that feel uncomfortable.

Emotional eating
Food becomes a way to manage stress, boredom, sadness or overwhelm.

Smoking or drinking more
A habit starts feeling less like a choice and more like an automatic response to stress.

Feeling stuck
You know something needs to change, but you cannot seem to shift the pattern on your own.

Worrying about the future
Your mind keeps jumping ahead to what could go wrong, making it hard to feel settled now.

Working with the pattern behind the anxiety
Hypnotherapy is not about forcing anxiety away. It is a calm, focused process that may help you understand the response your mind and body have learned, then begin creating a different way to respond.
For some people, that may mean feeling more able to pause before reacting. For others, it may mean feeling calmer in situations they usually avoid, or having support to settle racing thoughts.
Support for moving from an automatic anxious reaction towards a steadier internal response.
Hypnotherapy may help you build a pause between the trigger and the old pattern.
The work can help your mind connect certain situations with a calmer, more grounded response.
Recordings can support the work in your own time, helping you return to the pattern you are building.
Find the anxiety support that feels right for you
You can start with a guided anxiety recording in your own time, or make an enquiry if you would like one-to-one support with Lynne. The right next step depends on what you are experiencing and how personal you would like the support to be.

One-to-one Support
Calm support backed by real clinical experience
Anxiety is one of the patterns Lynne has worked with most across her nursing and clinical hypnotherapy career. She has supported people managing chronic worry, poor sleep, social anxiety and physical stress responses and understands how deeply these patterns can become embedded over time.
Her approach is grounded, patient and focused on helping you understand your own response not labelling you or making you feel like the problem is a personal failure.

A calm process built around what you need support with
01
Talk through what has been happening
Lynne will ask about the anxiety pattern you want support with, how it shows up, and what you would like to feel different.
02
Identify the pattern
Together, you start to understand the response underneath the anxiety, such as overthinking, avoidance, worry, stress or feeling stuck.
03
Move into guided hypnotherapy
Lynne guides you into a calm, focused state where you can work with the pattern in a gentle and practical way.
04
Stay aware and in control
Being in a calm, focused hypnotic state is not the same as being unconscious. You are aware throughout, grounded in the room, and able to speak or stop the process at any point.
05
Keep reinforcing the change
Each personalised recording gives you something to return to outside of sessions. Regular listening reinforces the calmer response and helps make it feel increasingly available when anxiety shows up.
Not sure which support is right for you?
You do not need to work it out on your own. If you are unsure which recording to choose, or whether one-to-one support would be more helpful, Lynne can talk through the best next step.
